East Hanover’s Integrated Preschool Program is a general education inclusive program designed to provide a preschool enriched curriculum. The curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey Department of Education’s Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards of Quality.

Applications for East Hanover School District’s 3-year-old preschool class and 4-year-old preschool class for the 2024-25 school year are open for returning students. Applications for possible enrollment for all NEW preschool students will open on Monday, January 22, 2024. All children must turn Age 3 or Age 4 by October 1, 2024, and must be toilet trained. Students who do not meet this cut-off may be eligible to attend on their third birthday should there be room in the preschool classes. Please contact the Special Services Office if you wish to inquire about this option and space during the school year.
Enrollment, for both sections, is limited and is determined by a lottery drawing. Students currently enrolled in the preschool program will be guaranteed a spot once their application is submitted. Applications are due by Friday, April 5, 2024. The lottery drawing, if needed, will occur on Friday, May 3, 2024 for any additional openings in the preschool classes.
At this time, please do not fill out a registration form for PreK students until after you have been notified in May if your child was selected in the lottery.
