Frank J Smith School (PK-1)

Hello! The summer reading information below has been shared with your child during library class.  Each student received the book, King and Kayla and the Lost Library Book by Dori Hillestadt Butler for summer reading.  We encourage you to read and discuss this literature selection with your child throughout the summer as students will participate in activities based on the book upon return in September.

Students can participate in optional reading activities using the One Book One School website here. Optional activities are provided on the website in which you can print, complete, and return in exchange for a raffle(s) ticket for a chance to win a prize in September!   You can also listen to the book being read by some of our fantastic FJS teachers by clicking on the "Read Aloud" tab on the website.

Happy Reading!
